Adult Ballet Class
Elite Academy of Dance have now added a new Adult Ballet Class. The class now means that ballet classes are now available for all ages from 2 1/2 to the over 80s at Elite Academy of Dance. The School is Inverclyde’s only dedicated Classical Ballet School therefore giving expert tuition to anyone with a love of Classical Ballet. The class is open to all abilities.

Adult Ballet Class what to expect
Of course our Adult Ballet Class will based solely around ballet. Whether you are a novice or have danced before you will receive expert training in all the basic ballet techniques. At the same time you will improve flexibility and muscle strength. All the stretching exercises will help blood flow to all your muscles. As the strength builds your endurance builds which in turns helps manage weight and increases cardiovascular health.
As the weeks go by, the control required to do Ballet will help with Posture. Your confidence will also improve as you build and learn new techniques. Mentally Ballet is great for stress relief, its about having fun, where you can laugh at your mistakes and think about improving, instead of worrying about day to life and issues out of your control. Ballet requires engagement of both hemispheres of your brain for coordinated learning so as you learn to balance and engage to instruction your sensorimotor skills will improve.
The class is designed to be fun with fun modern music. Joining our class will help promote a healthier life. Its also a great opportunity to meet new people and learn and grow with them as you all gain from new experiences.
Time and Dates for our Adult Ballet Class
The Adult Ballet Class takes place every Wednesday evening from 7.30pm – 8.30pm. All classes take place in our private studio at 15a Watt Street, Greenock, PA16 8JN.
